Champagne Ham & Provolone Croque Monsieur as seen on Good Morning


8 x Good slice of Champagne Ham
8 x Good slices of Provolone
4 x large slices of Seeded Loaf

4 x Tsp. Wholegrain Mustard

½ cup grated Parmesan


Tomato relish

2 eggs whisked
Cracked pepper
Salted Butter


We all need to know how to make the world’s best ham and cheese Toastie, well what I think is the best ham and cheese toastie. Perfect for weekend lunches Saturday, so simple but so tasty.


The most important thing is the Seeded Loaf and a hot grill. First thing is to lightly toast the Seeded Loaf then butter with a generous amount. Then spread with the wholegrain mustard, cover with ham then finish with layers of the Provolone cheese. Place the whole sandwich into the egg wash, then coat in the grated Parmesan

Heat the pan to a very warm but not too hot temperature then drizzle with oil and a knob of butter and cook the sandwich on both sides until the cheese has caramelized and set. Remove, cut on the angle and serve with rocket and olive oil or your favourite homemade tomato relish.
