Loaf is a leading New Zealand wholesale bakery that creates handcrafted breads and sweet treats.  You’ll find our retail range of slices and mini bites on the shelves of supermarkets in all corners of the country.

With our recent move into a brand-new premises, equipped with a bigger and better factory shop, we have the exciting opportunity for a motivated shop manager to join our growing team. 

The factory shop showcase’s Loaf’s delicious product range with freshly baked breads and pastries, a growing cabinet food range, barista made coffee and retail products from our favourite local NZ brands. 

What you’ll be doing 

Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently, including; serving customers, restocking shelves, product displays and preparing cabinet food and coffee. All whilst following a high standard of food & hygiene procedures and providing a positive customer experience.

What you’ll bring

- Excellent customer service skills and a natural taking to making customers feel welcome.

- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

- An ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team environment. 

- A willingness to learn about our range of products.

- Experienced barista

- Previous experience in a similar shop/café assistant role preferred.

LOAF STOREMAN/DISPATCHER

About Us

Loaf Limited is one of the largest bakeries in Auckland and we are located at brand new premises in Mt Wellington.  We service both FMCG and wholesale markets and are needing a motivated dispatcher/storeman to join our warehouse team. 

What you’ll be doing

- Loading and offloading trucks

- Receiving all inwards goods, including chilled and frozen

- Stock Rotation

- Dispatching frozen/chilled orders 

- Making up frozen pallet orders and frozen tie orders to be dispatched 

- Checking orders before dispatch - making sure correct quantity and dates

- Heavy lifting involved up to 25kg moving around 1000kg pallet of flour with a pallet jack

- Checking inwards goods to see if we have received the correct products and quantity and have a good expiry date.

- Wrapping pallets & loading containers for export.

- General cleaning of freezer & dispatch areas

- Courier dispatch

What you’ll bring

- 6 + months of warehouse experience within the food industry (preferred not essential)

- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Good time management skills, which is essential to meet courier/transport company deadlines and be super organised.

- Be efficient, self-motivated, and work as a team.

- Need to be physically fit and strong.

- Having experience with fork trucks and Bendi fork trucks would be beneficial for this role.

Only apply if you can work 40 hours minimum, Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month.

These positions require you to have your own transport and you must be eligible to work in NZ now (Working Visa or NZ Citizen).
