ASSISTANT BAKER

Are you an experienced baker?   Yes, we need you!

Our bakery is located in Ellerslie and we are needing an experienced baker to help our team produce high quality products.

As well as baking, you must have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be comfortable working with a team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant baking experience
• Oven and mixing experience
• Be well organised and have good time management skills
• Highly motivated and quick thinking
• You will need to be reliable and work the hours and times specified which can include weekends and nights.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Key responsibilities include

• Ensure that quality products are produced for customers each time. As well as ensuring that the procedures and processes that relate to our Health & Safety Policies are followed 100% of the time.
• Always be looking for improvements in all aspects of the role and be an integral part of the team that delivers great results.

This position requires you to have your own transport and be entitled to work in NZ (a current work visa or residency is essential, please do not apply if you do not have either of these). The position also requires you to work shifts, including weekends.
